Why this business exists
My aviation background is Navy surveillance and reconnaissance — flying missions to collect aerial data and intelligence over dynamic operational environments. CT Aero brings that same discipline to Florida’s commercial aerial work: engineering firms needing standards-cited exhibits for stamped reports, general contractors needing weekly progress documentation on active builds, property managers needing thermal envelope surveys before capital reserve cycles, and insurance professionals needing evidence-grade documentation that survives adjuster scrutiny.
The difference between an operator with an aviation background and one who bought a drone last quarter is not marketing language. It shows up in every mission brief, every checklist, every debrief, and every deliverable.
What we deliver
Every CT Aero mission is briefed, executed, and debriefed to a standard. Every deliverable cites its process against recognized industry standards:
- ASTM C1153-23 for radiometric thermal moisture assessment
- ASTM C1060-23 for building envelope infrared inspection
- ASPRS 2024 Class II for positional accuracy on RTK photogrammetry and 3D reconstruction
- IEC 62446-3 for solar array thermal inspection
- Federal Rules of Evidence 901/902 for aerial documentation intended for legal proceedings
Chain of custody is standard on every flight. All deliverables ship within 48 hours of the mission.
Where we operate
CT Aero serves the greater Jacksonville metropolitan area, the First Coast, and coastal communities from Amelia Island to Ponte Vedra to St. Augustine. We operate under FAA Part 107 authority throughout Florida with full commercial UAV liability insurance and coastal-airspace mission experience.
