Rooftop unit anomaly detection — refrigerant leaks, failing compressors, electrical hot spots — identified before they cause equipment failure or business interruption.
Thermal imaging detects HVAC anomalies that visual inspection cannot: refrigerant line cold spots, overheating contactors and capacitors, dirty condenser coils, motor and bearing failures, and idle units that should be running.
Most efficient when bundled with roof inspection — same flight, same trip, marginal additional cost. Standalone surveys also available for facilities with extensive rooftop equipment.
Reports identify which units require priority service and what specific issue is suspected, allowing HVAC technicians to bring the right parts on the first visit and reducing diagnostic time substantially.
Note: thermal screening is not a diagnosis. Findings indicate priority for qualified HVAC technician follow-up.
